Aero-modeling club

This is a hobby club which functions during vacations. Mr. Pinto, an expert aero-modeler, conducts workshops where students are taught to build gliders and aeroplanes. Beginners are taught to make gliders whereas advanced learners are taught to make radio-controlled aeroplanes. The students are taken to Mahalaxmi Race Course where they are shown how to fly the planes and gliders. The workshops are open to students from other colleges and schools also. This is a very popular activity and students look forward to it.

Astronomy Club

Star gazing is a fascinating hobby. Why do the stars twinkle, what is the Milky Way, what are planets, what is the Orion these are all questions which are related to the world above us. Students have been visiting Nehru Planetarium, listening to lectures by great astronomers like Mr.Vahya and looking through the telescope to see if they can spot the rabbit on the moon. Needless to say, the students love the club and the success of the club is seen by its ever increasing membership.
